Tastingnotes:An old grain whiskey with no indication of origin. According to our information, it was burned at Cameronbridge in the Lowlands. Cameronbridge was the first 100% grain distillery in Scotland and started operations in 1824. Today Cameronbridge has a production volume of approx. 30 million liters of alcohol and gin and vodka are also produced there. This 43 year old grain once again has everything that whiskey lovers appreciate about ancient grains: The aroma is clean, honey-like and sweet with a rush of tropical fruits like pineapple and mangoes. Honeydew melons with a touch of thyme and rosemary. Vanilla, orange jelly and slightly waxy on the palate. Dusty oak with spices. The finish is medium, vanilla and spicy. Very successful, the wood is there, but the sweet fruit notes are in the foreground.
