Tastingnotes: This new Acla Selection bottling matured for 14 years in a 1st fill barrel. Aroma: Starts with notes of lemon, kiwi, grapefruit, ginger and green apple. Sweet corn, grass and lime. Very fresh and lively. Palate: Sweet and fruity with lemons (Limoncello!?), apples and pears (Calvados!?). Pepper, anise, mint, delicate herbs and lime again. A nice combination of sweet fruits and spices. Finale: Long, warming and fruity with oak spice. The perfect dram for a balmy summer evening in the midst of a heat wave.
