Armagnac immediately impressed us as a new spirit in our range. After the success of our first Armagnac Session No.1 (1974 vintage) we were now up looking for a slightly younger and therefore cheaper vintage in order to convince even more of our customers of the French spirits arts. This 29-year-old Armagnac Garreau from 1994 has mocha, jam, candied fruits, nuts and dried fruits on the nose. Smooth on the palate, balanced with rich texture (oiliness, fat), light oak on the finish. Notes of red berries (goji, dried cherries) round off the whole thing. Purely distilled from 100% Baco grapes, this Armagnac impresses with its warmth and its deep, dark, sparkling & glittering color: brilliance in French.
